Based in San Francisco, California, Upper Playground has become one of the leaders of Young Contemporary Art and now it opens in Mexico City to show the best contemporary artists of today.

Nature Studies es un conjunto de obras, principalmente pinturas y dibujos, basados en el estudio zoológico de creaturas fantásticas que viven en un mundo urbano del futuro imaginario. Una colección de fábulas gráficas en la que cada espécimen narra su historia y lo que sucede en este ambiente salvaje tratando de resistir al paso del tiempo.
Jeremy Fish (1975, NY) radicado en San Francisco CA es un narrador de historias que combina el humor, las circunstancias sociales y la experiencia personal a través de la ilustración, la pintura, la serigrafía, los murales y la escultura. Su obra ha sido exhibida en Japón, Alemania, Suiza, Taiwán, Polonia, Hungría, Dinamarca, Canadá, Holanda, Austria, Eslovaquia, Italia y a lo largo y ancho de Estados Unidos. Nature Studies es su primera exhibición en México como parte de la inauguración de la galería Fifty24MX en el DF.

Nature studies is a body of work filled with "studies"; drawings and paintings based on fantasy creatures from an imaginary futuristic urban wilderness. Each creature tells a little story about the things that go on deep in these imaginary woods. Nature studies is part of an ongoing body of work that deals with futuristic beasts designed to withstand the test of time.
Jeremy Fish (1975, NY) lives and works in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood. His artwork deals with the relationship of all things cute and creepy, and the balance between the two. The work tends to be narrative stories designed with a library of symbols and characters. In the last few years Fish has exhibited his work in Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Poland, Hungry, Denmark, Canada, Holland, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, and all over the United States. Nature Studies is his first show in Mexico to celebrate the opening of the Fifty24MX gallery in DF.
